EVENING OF JAZZ
Evening of Jazz, held in May for Brain Tumor Awareness Month, is an evening of remembrance for our childhood cancer warriors we lost too soon. Joshua's Wish host this event to raise awareness and research funds for a cure. Our first event was held in May 2018. One of our past events to celebrate the month of May has been fashion shows where some of our supporters walk the runway in their fancy attire. Many community members and supporters gather to listen to soothing jazz selections from recording artists like Brain Tumor Survivor Joey Stuckey. Sponsored by the Otis Redding Foundation, Cadence Bank, New York Life, and Ciceros Moving and Storage and many others.
"Leukemias, which are cancers of the bone marrow and blood, are the most common childhood cancers. They account for about 28% of all cancers in children."
